Media Coverage

Our work, and our thinking, in the press

Published pieces on how leadership hiring is changing in Indian industry — the frameworks we use, the failures we have studied, and twelve years of building the firm. Unlike a lot of agency-written commentary, these are written by Dinesh Arya, Dushyant Arya and the wider ASTC team, drawing on mandates they have personally run rather than general industry talking points.

Why this exists

Commentary from people who ran the search, not who covered it.

Most executive search commentary online is written by people who have never run a search — content agencies producing generic advice to rank for a keyword. What's published here comes out of actual mandates: a framework we developed because a specific search kept failing the same way, or a pattern we noticed across several clients in the same sector.

That means it is occasionally uncomfortable reading if it touches on a failure mode you recognise in your own hiring. We think that is more useful than another generic "top ten tips" piece, and it is why journalists and industry publications have picked up several of these pieces directly.

FAQ

About our published commentary

Who writes ASTC Services' media coverage and commentary?

Dinesh Arya, Dushyant Arya and the wider ASTC team write directly from mandates they have run, rather than commissioning a content agency. Where a piece has been picked up or featured by an external publication, that is noted alongside the article.

How is this different from the case studies and blog sections?

Case studies describe one completed mandate in detail with the client's permission. Blog articles are practical, how-to guidance for people running a hiring decision themselves. Media coverage is broader commentary and frameworks — the thinking behind how we approach leadership hiring generally.

Can I reference or quote from these articles?

Yes, with attribution to ASTC Services and, where relevant, to the named author. If you are a journalist working on a related story, contact us directly and we're generally happy to comment further.
